MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Summerhill Orchestra is a unique hybrid ensemble of professional and community musicians.
We rehearse Monday evenings at The Church of the Messiah located at Dupont and Avenue Road from September to the end of May.
Rehearsals for this season will begin on:
Monday September 15th 2025, 7:30-9:45pm
Membership Fee for our 2025-2026 season: $225 due at the first rehearsal.

Audition requirements:
Candidates should have a solid orchestral background with advanced playing skills. Please prepare the following:
Violins:
Mendelssohn 4 excerpt found here; Short excerpt from a concerto or other solo work of your choice
Violas, Cellos and Basses:
Two contrasting excerpts of your choice. One work should be from a concerto or other solo work.
Total time for audition choices should not exceed 8 minutes of music.
